Senior Finance Executive

The role of Senior Finance Executive involves overseeing financial operations, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and managing a team. You will collaborate closely with Finanzi’s accounting team as well as our clients’ teams to ensure accurate financial reporting, effective financial planning, and the timely achievement of key deadlines.

Reports to: Accounting Manager

Responsibilties:

Finance Administration

  • Oversee and assist the finance team in extracting data from client platforms, invoicing and communication with operators through various platforms.
  • Making sure all company details are updated on the various client platforms.
  • Supervise the timely maintenance and accuracy of monthly reporting sheets for each client.
  • Ensure receivables are maintained at a reasonable level and oversee that the debt chasing processes are being taken care of regularly.
  • Provide regular debt reports to the client, holding regular meetings if required.
  • Maintain a strong client relationship and ensure client satisfaction on internal finance functions.
  • Ensure that VAT applied to sales invoices is accurate, liaising with Finanzi’s accounting team as necessary.

Team Supervision & Development

  • Supervise junior finance administration staff, providing guidance, training, and mentorship were necessary.
  • Review work prepared by junior team members to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Assist in performance appraisals and professional development of team members.
  • Delegate tasks effectively to optimize efficiency and productivity and ensure client deadlines are met.
  • Track hours compiled by entire team on particular jobs to ensure a fair delivery to the client and identify areas for improvement.

Process Improvement & Compliance

  • Identify opportunities to improve and align the administration processes across all accounting teams and implement best practices.
  • Ensure adherence to internal controls and financial policies.
  • Identify areas for improvement in both Finanzi and client workflows related to the finance admin services being provided.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace (G Suite), and a range of online platforms, including secure password management systems.

Education and Experience:

  • Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in a finance or accounting role, ideally within iGaming / affiliate marketing / digital platforms.
  • Proven experience in financial operations, including invoicing, receivables management, and financial reporting.
  • Strong understanding of VAT regulations and general tax compliance requirements.
  • Familiarity with debt collection processes and cash flow management.
  • Hands-on experience with online client platforms, accounting systems, and workflow tools.
  • Experience liaising directly with clients and maintaining strong professional relationships.
  • Familiarity with Xero or similar accounting software.
  • Prior experience in accounting is not required but considered an asset.
