The Role: Immigration Advisor specialised in Residence programmes & Citizenship frameworks

Finanzi is looking for an Immigration Advisor who has built their career on Malta’s residence
programmes and citizenship frameworks.
The successful candidate will provide expert advisory services to private clients across a broad range
of immigration pathways, residency programmes, and citizenship matters. This is an excellent

Description
Client origination and advisory
- Handling inbound enquiries from high-net-worth individuals and families, qualifying them
properly, and converting the ones that are a genuine fit. - Advising prospective clients on programme selection — eligibility, timelines, qualifying
investment and property thresholds, tax consequences, family dependants, and the realistic
prospects of a given profile clearing due diligence. - Building and maintaining relationships with introducers: private banks, family offices, wealth
managers, tax advisors, law firms and overseas migration agents. - Preparing fee proposals and engagement letters and negotiating terms.
- Representing Finanzi at industry events and client meetings, in Malta and abroad.
- Managing your own pipeline: tracking enquiries through to signature, and reporting on
conversion. - Supporting with business strategy.
Application management - Running applications end-to-end.
- Assembling and stress-testing source of wealth and source of funds documentation before it
reaches the authorities. - Managing the due diligence process and responding to Agency queries, clarification requests
and adverse findings. - Coordinating the qualifying elements of each application: property purchase or lease,
contributions, donations, insurance, and the supporting evidence for each. - Liaising with Residency Malta Agency, Komunità Malta, Identità, the Commissioner for
Revenue and the Public Registry. - Keeping clients informed at every stage and managing expectations honestly when timelines
slip. - Contributing to internal training and to the firm’s published regulatory updates.
Requirements - The ideal candidate should bring 2+ years of experience working on Malta’s high-value
residence programmes and citizenship frameworks. - Direct experience of source of wealth and due diligence documentation for high-net-worth
applicants. - A track record of client-facing work.
- Fluent written and spoken English to a standard suitable for advising sophisticated
international clients. - Strong organisational judgement, with the ability to run multiple live files independently.
- Proactive and self-motivated, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Considered an asset - A degree in law, or a strong background in tax or private client advisory.
- Experience of a competing jurisdiction’s programmes — Portugal, Greece, Cyprus, the
Caribbean, the UAE.
